Scole is the core of the B4RN network in Norfolk and the community centre is the first site to go live. We are looking for a community champion to help manage the delivery to the whole of the parish.
The first cabinet is installed at Scole Community Centre
We run a computer club / open forum where you can meet us and find out more, as well as trying the service out for yourself. This is every Friday at the community Centre from about 7pm
The first houses in Scole are now live. To join them please complete a registration of interest form and we will get in contact. We are actively seeking funding to deliver the service within the parish and expect the next phase to commence in a month or so. To find out more about investing follow this link.
So far route 1 is well under way with a number of houses connected. Further houses should go live in early 2019.
Route 2 is progressing well, with digging having reached the A140 and all homes along this section of the route can be connected. Several kilometers of dig have been completed West of the A140 covering Norwich Road, New road and more. We have almost completed the route through Thelverton but urgently need volunteers to allow us to make quick progress on additional routes. The Thelveton route is also the link to Shimpling and Burston, Gissing, Tivetshall and Heywood.
We now have started the dig to Upper Billingford, having passed Brick Kiln drive and reaching the first houses which are almost ready for connection.
The A140 crossing is arranged and work on this should proceed in January.
